As the world grows through pandemics and other life-threatening scenarios, there is a great need to equip staff in working places with at least minima life-saving skills.
This is what the Alliance Française de Lusaka has embarked on. With the help of the Zambia Red Cross, the cultural center engaged it’s staff and support staff in Basic First Aid Training. Following a three day course, staff had to undergo various training both physically and theoretically.
In this training, the following departments were present: Directorate, Maintenance, Cleaning, Library, Interns, Auxillary staff, Trainers, and Teachers, as well as consultants.
Let’s be mindful of safety guidelines around us as be careful to stay safe.
