It was a night filled with great music, dance and cheer as MALIX Upit took to the stage with Pascalina and Raka Raka, among the songs on the night.
Raka Raka is taken from the Swahili word ARAKA which means dare dare or Rapide – MALIX
All the way from Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of Congo, the artist travelled to Zambia for a five day tour, which included a live concert at the prestigious Champs Sports Bar in Woodlands and a workshop at the Alliance Francaise de Lusaka with musicians and artists.
Putting together great sound, vibe and to many a first experience of a rhumba thrilled rap music genre style music, MALIX and his 6 man team did not disappoint.
Lighting up the stage with Raka Raka, meaning you have to be patient in life because everything comes to who knows how to wait, is something MALIX
I love Zambian music too, and I remember music from people like Mampi, Macky 2 and your best artist for this generations ‘Sampe The Great’. I would love to collaborate with Zambian artists.
MALIX Upit was in Zambia from 10th of March to the 14th of March on invitation by the Alliance Francaise de Lusaka, as an opener of the months Francophonie festive celebrations.
