The Alliance Française de Lusaka has been making significant changes and refurbishments and this is credited to the direction of Mr. Naïl Muniglia. From August 2019, the cultural center has seen major improvements under that have included an addition of an outdoor performance patio and a French Café called the ‘Daily Break’ .
The patio is now unrecognizable, with a concrete platform built to create a warm and welcoming space where people can now have a seat and relax.
A big step in the modernisation, is the opening of our brand new restaurant the ‘Daily Break’, in partnership with the French company Newrest in October 2020. The restaurant is now open for people to come and have coffee and croissant in the morning, to eat a quick lunch and chill and have a drink at the end of the day.
We now also have dedicated kids play area, with a playground comprising a swing set and a slide was built next to an eight-seater bench and annex to the patio, making it visible for parents and allowing children to play freely and safely!
