The past month was Awesome. We had so much fun and learnt a lot. The month began with a creative workshop called (Shout at us) where Steven Mwale, Abel Black ZM and Geo Musiwa gave their critique on how young and upcoming artist are steering their way through the creative industry in Zambia. This was done in partnership with our long time partners Colour Culture.
To celebrate the Bastille day, we hosted a free family friendly classical concert on the 16th of July. The concert was attended by an impressive crowd of music lovers and the Dolce music ensemble – a group of young talents – shared a large and rich repertoire of classical pieces with the attendees.
To stay true to our quest to nurture young talent and support the arts, we had a theater and circus kids show on 23rd of July at our premises. Families and kids turned up in large numbers and they were entertained by a group of dancers and young artists that were trained by Mr John Jacobs about a month before the show.
On top of all this, we had our usual activities that include; free movie screening every Wednesday, Polyglot every Thursday, open mic every last Thursday of the month and Salsa on Fridays as well as Piano lessons.
We are greatful to all who supported us through out the month and we look forward to seeing all of you.
